Firstly let me introduce myself, my name is Glenn Moore, Born ’62, I have resided in Broome since 1996.
I’m happily married with two young boys, I love Broome; there’s nowhere else like it in this world! ™ I love its people, immerse myself in its cultural diversity, wonder at its place in history, revel in its year round warm climate, and wander its iconic and lesser known beaches. Everyday I look in awe at its rugged & natural beauty.
Some people swear Broome has this wonderful, almost spiritual element; an intrinsic-nirvana like quality that defies definition or even description. Broome certainly is unique.
I work hard to promote Broome tourism and retail businesses to new arrivals and now Broome as an attractive and desirable destination to the world online.
Peter Garrett said verbatim on tonight’s news “Broome & the Kimberley is a must see destination for all Australians and every visitor from overseas.” *
So there you go; it’s official and on this occasion I completely agree with him.
Direct north currently and proudly promotes the very best of Broome to virtually every visitor that stays in Broome overnight. Our brochure racks are displayed in all but one of Broomes Hotels, every Caravan Park & Flashpackers and other selected high traffic outlets.
Born is our new website www.broomedirect.com.au, our online or virtual brochure rack on display to the world. We have deliberately designed it as a detailed and impartial information portal because we’re very much in the business of spreading the word about how good Broome and its tourism industry really is.
Our website allows Bed & Breakfasts and everyone with access to the World Wide Web free and open access to Broome online, 24/7.
We act “without fear or favour” for over 100 local Broome businesses and we display our racks in over 40 locations throughout Broome. We continue to remain completely impartial and promote Broome “the experience” and allow you to decide your purchase.
We provide you, “our on-line user”, with all the tools required to plan and book your holiday here in Broome from anywhere in the world.

12 months in the making, www.broomedirect.com.au was finally launched in April 2010. Initially a massive 80+ pages of information & links, it is just the beginning and will remain a work in progress for sometime with so much more to be added. I welcome locals & visitors to contribute.
